About Panther Security & Surveillance

Tim Throssell has more than 15 years’ experience in the security industry, and comes from a family with a combined 45 years in the field. His father was a police officer before moving into security, and Tim learned the trade working alongside him. That background shaped how Tim works: neat cabling, sensible design, systems that keep working, and a straight answer when you ask a question.

In mid-2024, Tim started trading under his own name as Panther Security & Surveillance. It’s a small, owner-operated business. When you call, you speak to the person who designs, installs and supports your system.

We’d rather install a system once and have it run well for years than compete on the lowest price.

How we work

  • Quality equipment. We install robust, well-supported gear: Bosch, Digiflex and Gallagher SMB for alarms and access control, and UNV, Dahua, Hikvision and Hanwha for CCTV. We also service common panels including DAS, NX, DSC, Ademco and Ness.

  • Honest advice. If you don’t need something, we’ll say so. If a job isn’t a good fit for us, we’ll say that too.

  • Clear pricing. Free site visits and design, written quotes, clear plan inclusions, and no work charged without your approval.

  • Realistic service. We’re a small business, so we don’t promise 24/7 callouts. We do promise to answer your messages, turn up when we say we will, and stand behind our work.
