CCTV plans and monitoring in Perth

A camera system needs a bit of ongoing attention to stay useful. Our CCTV plans keep your cameras connected and alerting, and Managed Care adds someone keeping an eye on how the system is performing. Plans are priced per site, with clear inclusions and no work charged without your approval.

CCTV Managed Care: Owners who want a professional keeping an eye on the system

CCTV Direct Alerts

We connect your camera system to our service and set up alerts so relevant events are sent straight to you. You decide what to do with them. Good for owners who are comfortable managing their own system day to day.

CCTV Managed Care

Everything in Direct Alerts, plus:

  • Notification assessment. We review the notifications your system generates and let you know when something needs your attention, so you hear about what matters rather than every passing car.

  • Weekly system checks. Each week we check that your cameras are online and your system is recording as it should.

  • Issues reported, then fixed with your approval. If a check finds a problem, we tell you what it is and what it will cost to fix. Nothing is charged until you approve it.

How camera coverage works

Each plan is priced per site. The base plan covers up to 8 cameras, and larger systems are covered by adding extra cameras to the plan individually, so you only pay for the size of system you have. A multi-sensor camera (one camera with several lenses) counts as one camera.

What's included and what isn't

Included in both plans

  • Connecting your system to our service and setting up alerts

  • Ongoing alert service for all cameras covered by your plan

Also included in Managed Care

  • Assessment of system notifications

  • Weekly system checks

  • A report to you when something needs attention, with a price to fix it

Not included (charged separately, only with your approval)

  • Onboarding of an existing system that needs work before it can be connected (for example, firmware updates, reconfiguration, network fixes or replacing faulty equipment). This is quoted separately before we start.

  • Repairs, replacement cameras, recorders, hard drives or other hardware

  • Site visits and labour to fix issues found

  • Your internet/NBN service and data costs

  • 24/7 alarm monitoring (see below) and security patrol attendance

  • Emergency or after-hours callouts

Equipment

Plans work best on quality, robust equipment. For new systems we recommend and install UNV, Dahua, Hikvision and Hanwha cameras and recorders, because they're reliable and well supported. We can connect most common brands of existing system, including these. If your current equipment can't be connected reliably, we'll tell you up front rather than take on a system we can't look after properly.

24/7 alarm monitoring

Monitoring is quoted per site.

For alarm systems, we can connect you to a Perth-based 24/7 monitoring facility. When your alarm activates, trained operators follow the response plan you set: contacting you or your nominated contacts and, where appropriate, escalating to police or a licensed security patrol service.

Monitoring is provided by the monitoring facility, not by Panther staff on call. Patrol attendance, if you choose it, is provided by a licensed patrol service and is arranged and charged separately.

Pricing

We don't publish plan prices online, because the right setup depends on your system and site. Plans are priced per site, with clear inclusions, and monitoring is quoted per site. Get in touch and we'll explain the options and pricing for your system.

Plans FAQ

Do I need a system installed by Panther?

No. We can connect most common brands of existing system, as long as the equipment is in working order. If it needs work first, we'll quote that separately before anything starts.

What counts as a camera?

Each physical camera counts as one, including multi-sensor cameras with several lenses.

What's the difference between Direct Alerts and Managed Care?

With Direct Alerts, notifications come straight to you and you act on them. With Managed Care, we also assess notifications and check your system every week, and tell you if anything needs fixing.

What happens if a weekly check finds a problem?

We tell you what we found and what it will cost to fix. Nothing is charged until you approve it. You can also choose to leave it or arrange the fix yourself.

Is a CCTV plan the same as 24/7 monitoring?

No. CCTV plans are about alerts and keeping your camera system healthy. 24/7 monitoring is a separate service for alarm systems, provided through a Perth-based monitoring facility and quoted per site.

Will someone come out in the middle of the night?

Not from us. Panther is a small, owner-operated business and we don't offer 24/7 callouts. Fault repairs are booked in during business hours. If you want after-hours response to alarms, we can arrange 24/7 monitoring with patrol attendance through licensed providers.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

Plan terms are explained when you enquire, so you know exactly what you're agreeing to before you sign up.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. You can move between Direct Alerts and Managed Care; just let us know.

How much do the plans cost?

Pricing depends on your plan and the number of cameras at your site. Send us your details and we'll give you a clear price.
