Panther Security & Surveillance is a trading name of Ezra Capital Pty Ltd (ABN 34 676 797 541). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it.

What we collect

When you contact us, fill in our enquiry form or become a client, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, site address or suburb, and details about your property and security needs. If we install or look after a system for you, we also keep records of the equipment, settings and service work at your site.

If we look after your CCTV or alarm system, we may access camera footage, alarm events and system logs, but only as needed to provide the service you've asked for.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, carry out and support your system, send invoices, and contact you about your service. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We only share your information where it's needed to provide our services. That can include a monitoring centre (if you choose professional monitoring), equipment or app providers needed to run your system, our accountant and business software providers, or where the law requires it.

Our website runs on Squarespace, and our enquiry form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam. These services may store or process data outside Australia.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Site details, codes and system access are kept on a need-to-know basis.

Access, corrections and questions

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing admin@panthersecurity.com.au or calling 6285 5255. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
